Hello, my name is James Long and I am a licensed
Health, Life, and Annuities Agent in the
state of Pennsylvania. I am originally from upstate New York and
spent some of my childhood in Southern California,
but I’ve lived in the Philadelphia
region for over 15 years now. I married my
wife, Teri, in April 2008 and we were blessed
with the birth of our first child, Gabrielle,
who arrived on December 22, 2010. Our baby
girl definitely has Daddy wrapped around
her little finger!
After a long career of managing multi-unit businesses I made a change that would allow me to focus on what I enjoyed most about my work - helping customers with a service they need and developing long standing relationships.

For years I experienced first-hand my employees’
confusion about their health insurance benefits
and I would help them the best I could to
understand it all. It was then that I realized
how much all people needed independent assistance
and consultation in regards to such an important,
yet misunderstood necessity. My experiences
in this field have been so rewarding that
I believe I have found the last job I will
ever have.
When I am not working, I often travel to see family and friends all over the country. In the summer, I spend most weekends “down the shore” and try to fit in a round of golf when possible. When there’s snow, I attempt to relive my youth on the ski slopes once or twice a season.
I truly feel that I’ve found a “home” at Young's Insurance Services because they have the same values I do: always look out for your customer, be available when they need help, and stay true to your word. I enjoy sharing stories about family and life experiences with my clients, keeping in mind that my business is a very personal issue to those I’m helping.
